I am Chris Leke. My two endeavors are mainly in mechatronics with a focus on Industrial automation and Cybersecurity research with a Focus on Zero Days and Cryptanalysis. A zero-day refers to a software vulnerability that is unknown to those who should be interested in its mitigation (such as the software vendor). Because the developers are unaware of the vulnerability, there are zero days for them to fix it. In the context of security, a zero-day exploit is an attack that occurs on the same day a vulnerability becomes known.

Cryptanalysis

Cryptanalysis is the study of analyzing information systems to understand the hidden aspects of the systems. It is used to breach cryptographic security systems and gain access to the contents of encrypted messages, even if the cryptographic key is unknown.

Relation to Mechatronics and PLCs

Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary field that combines mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, telecommunications engineering, systems engineering, and control engineering. Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) are crucial components in mechatronic systems, particularly in industrial automation. PLCs are specialized computers used for the automation of electromechanical processes, such as control of machinery on factory assembly
